I can't even install the Java Package from the DSM Package Center.
And on Synology website the Java Package is only available for 2 bay 700 series. Maybe I need to change the NAS for on of those.

The Java Manager from Synology is available for all x86-based models. It isn't limited to the 2-bay 700 series. For models with an ARM or PowerPC processor, everything will work OK if you install the alternative Java package that winxi has mentioned.

Well unfortunately I am not running Linux and or I'm not as technically advanced user as they are or the tutorial isn't that well, missing some steps, probably dumb steps but tha tis why is called a tutorial, otherwise is only a memo or a power user.
So in sumary I can't install the java package following those instructions.

There is no need to run the Linux shell to install Java on the DS213j. The steps to install Java are basically the following:

1) Add the package repository URL to the Synology package center.
2) Dowload the Java archive from Oracle and put in the 'public' shared folder of the NAS.
3) Install Java using the Synology package center.

With which of these steps do you have problems?

Hello winxi and thanks for you help. I have trouble at beggining, 1st steop. I can't seem to add the package repository URL to Synology Package Center. Where do I do that? Sorry, maybe I'm seeing this the wrong way, maybe it's so simples I just can't see it! lol

Hello again,
I figured it out, was indeed simple. I installed the Java and already installed Minimserver. But now it doesn't start... I got the directory right, I gave minimserver package full access to the directory but it gives me an error: “/volume1/@appstore/java7/jre/bin/java: error while loading shared libraries: libjli.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory”.

What is the exact filename of the version of Java that you copied to the public directory on the Synology?

It seems that there is still a problem with the Java package and the DS213j. The package asks for the hard-float version of Java although it should be the soft-float version.
Please see this post for a possible workaround.

Thanks Winxi. I will try and see if I can do that tonight.

This is surprising, as the patters blog contains updated code with a fix for this:

http://pcloadletter.co.uk/2011/08/23/jav...-synology/

(see the "expand source" link).

Perhaps the patters repository contains a down-level version.

Yes, it seems to be a problem with the repository. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the Java package on my DS211. The installer.sh file of the newly installed package still contains the check for the hard-float version of Java.
