RE: Minimserver & Minimwatch both stopped working
When you say MinimWatch is mostly greyed out, do you mean it is sometimes able to connect to MinimServer? If so, this sounds like a UPnP multicast discovery problem with your network. Can you say a bit more about when MinimWatch works and when it doesn't? For example, does it work for a short time after stopping and restarting MinimServer from Synology Package Center? Does it work for a short time after stopping and restarting MinimWatch?
MinimWatch does not have a folder on the NAS. MinimWatch runs on the Mac and all its files are there. |

RE: Minimserver & Minimwatch both stopped working
HI Simon I mean only options refresh and exit can be used all other options are not available, minimwatch has never worked on its own only when both were running on my mac, its also only minimserver that has a folder on my Nas sorry for the confusion

RE: Minimserver & Minimwatch both stopped working
Hi Simon
I Have just installed Minimserver on the mac and it the same as before it goes white I then go to volumes and the nas directory is not there at all for me to select, also should the minimwatch file be in the mac applications folder which it is not allthough its running, I am only asking as minimserver is in there when I install that Thanks Barry |

RE: Minimserver & Minimwatch both stopped working
If MinimWatch isn't in the Applications folder, it has not been installed correctly and this might be why it is not working correctly.
The installation instructions for MinimWatch are in this section. See the note to step 6. All steps in this section must be followed carefully to get a working installation. |

RE: Minimserver & Minimwatch both stopped working
MinimWatch does not appear in LaunchPad. You need to launch it from the Applications folder.
What is the IP address of the NAS running MinimServer? If your Mac has a wired connection, try changing it to wireless (or vice versa). This is a test to eliminate possible causes of the problem. |

RE: Minimserver & Minimwatch both stopped working
Did you change your Mac from wireless to wired and disable the wireless connection? If so, has this made any difference?
