cant play DSD .dsf files on Melco N1A/minimserver

I read that already. However, I may have missed something. I already installed MinimServer on Melco N1A following the instruction provided here http://minimserver.com/install-melco.html. But, I could not find the instruction I need from this link and minimstreamer.com where and how to install MinimWatch and MinimStreamer separately from MinimServer. Thanks.

In the link I provided to MinimStreamer, the install link in the left nav is to install MinimStreamer. Not sure what else you need.

The installing MinimServer page http://minimserver.com/installing.html
has instructions for installing MinimServer and installing MinimWatch on various platforms.

What specific issue are you experiencing with these installations?

Thanks for being patient with me. I had no problem with installing MinimServer on Melco by following the instruction at http://minimserver.com/install-melco.html. I was told that I need to install MinimStreamer/MinimWatch in order to configure to play .dsf and .diff files. However, I could not find instruction to install MinimStreamer/MinimWatch separately from MinimServer, also where to install them, on PC? on Melco?

Follow the MinimServer install link above and select Windows, Mac OS X or Linux to install MinimWatch first on the device you will using to control MinimServer.
Then using MinimWatch you can install MinimStreamer then enter the property mentioned by Simon above.

From the MinimStreamer User Guide:

Transcoding

To enable transcoding, you need to specify one or more transcoding combinations in the stream.transcode property. The format of each transcoding combination is the input type followed by a colon followed by the output type. The input type is the format of the file or network stream you are playing, and the output type is the audio format that MinimStreamer will send to your music player. For example, to transcode FLAC files to WAV output, you would use the transcoding setting flac:wav.

You can specify multiple transcoding settings separated by commas. For example, to transcode Apple Lossless (ALAC) files to 24-bit WAV output and also transcode ADTS network streams to MP3 output, you would use the transcoding settings alac:wav24, aac:mp3.
