RE: avconv 64bit not installed
Thanks for this log. It shows a buffering issue with the renderer apparently not being able to handle the volume of data sent by MinimStreamer. Please can you send me a similar log without BubbleUPnP Server in the chain.

RE: avconv 64bit not installed
Thanks for this log. It shows no problems with buffering. The entire stream is written by MinimStreamer to the renderer in less than 4 seconds. It looks like JPLAYstreamer is using a very large RAM buffer.

All this points to some incompatibility between the buffering strategies used by MinimStreamer, BubbleUPnP Server and JPLAYstreamer. Any two of these are able to work together but the combination of all three doesn't. A problem like this isn't easy to debug because it's hard to know what buffering strategies the other components are using.

I think the next step is for me to try to reproduce the problem here. I am setting up a test environment for this and I will keep you posted on progress.

RE: avconv 64bit not installed
I have reproduced the problem here. It occurs both with and without BubbleUPnP Streamer. The jplay process crashes (disappears from Task Manager) if I play 3 or 4 tracks one after the other (play the first, stop it after a few seconds, then play the second, etc.) After restarting the JPLAY and JPLAYstreamer services, it works again for a while. There is no abnormal behaviour in MinimStreamer. I think this means the problem is in JPLAY.

RE: avconv 64bit not installed
In my configuration I have the same but only via BubbleUPnP Server Proxy and only with flac files. If I play wav's via Proxy then it is ok (stopping/playing do not crash) or if I play everything without Proxy. So it seems our configurations are different.

Are you using Upplay? What kind of Jplay settings have you set?

RE: avconv 64bit not installed
I haven't changed the default JPLAY settings. I am using the free trial version of JPLAY. I am using Linn Kinsky as the control point but this won't make any difference because the control point is not involved when files are playing.

Do you see the JPLAY process crashing (disappearing from Task Manager) when the music stops? If so, this is a bug in JPLAY.

It is not very surprising that different scenarios trigger this problem on different hardware setups. I suggest you contact the JPLAY developers to see if they can help with diagnosing the problem.
