Thank you and MinimStreamer installedSmile

My PC has two NICs, each to a different subnets(192.168.0 and 192.168.3). The network music player is on one of the subnets. Can I tell the MinimServer to find the player on a particular subnet(192.168.3)? Or MinimServer will search all the available NICs?

MinimServer does not "find" the player. The UPnP control point (which might be part of the player) finds MinimServer.

By default, MinimServer advertises itself on all available subnets. If there is more than one NIC on the same subnet (not applicable in your setup), MinimServer uses only one of these NICs.

Can I tell MinimServer the location of the UPnP point?? I've got the IP of the UPnP point. Sometimes it can't find MinimServer.

This suggests that you have a problem with multicast discovery on your network. See this section for more information and some suggestions.

Thank you for your reply. I probably have used a wrong term and would like to clarify.

I use "BubbleDS Next",an apps for Android as control through WiFi to a router. MinimServer runs on a PC (Windows 10) that uses wired LAN to connect to the same router. A device microRendu running MPD/DLNA mode uses wired LAN to connect to the same router.

Ideally, BibbleDS Next can see MinimServer under the "Local and Cloud" and the device microRendu under the LINN DS. If yes, I can use BibbleDS Next to instruct MinimServer to send music files to microiRendu.

Sometimes only the MinimServer under the "Local and Cloud" may be seen and the microRendu cannot be found. Then I can no longer play any music files. However, if I rebboot the PC, microRendu may show up again in BubbleDS Next.

In this situation, is it MinimServer cannot see the device microRend , or the control BubbleDS Next cannot see microRendu? I known the IP of microRendu. Does it help to solve the problem?

RE: Server 2012 R2 Launch
It is the control point BubbleDS that is not seeing the microRendu. MinimServer is not involved in this discovery process. As a first step, you can follow the suggestions in the link that I posted. If these suggestions don't help, I suggest you contact the microRendu manufacturer for advice.
