I just tried BubbleUpnp with an opera on the Yamaha WXC-50 with MinimServer and it was gapless. Also the research in the Library is a lot more easy in BubbleUpnp and the information about the work in the Now Playing window is more complete.

sounds good than i will give the wxc-5 a chance

i bought me the device and it works fine
- radio also Linn radio is fine
-also music over USB without problems
-and minimserver on synology the chromecast app shows structure of
music collection more less in minim style

- only with bubleupnp it actually does not work, i think because of missing renderer; Maybe a configuration setting is actually not correct

I have ripped my opera CDs. In opera, many times, there in no silence between tracks. It's the best musical genre to test gapless playing.
For BubbleUpnp, you can see in the app settings page that some smartphones don't work with this player. It was the case with my last phone, a Huawei P10 lite. It was not able to play a music file stored in the phone. After a few minutes, it stopped!

now all works as i want installed bubble upnp server on my NAS and the bubble upnp app plays music over the Yami
