RE: unexpected behaviour after update 260
Thank you for all your work to narrow down the configuration settings that trigger this problem.
I am glad I was able to help. The lack of type-specific custom icons for subcontainers under the Recently Added container (and similar) is intentional. These icons are displayed only for the contents of containers that correspond to index tags. Does this mean that in this case (Recently Added , Recently Played) in Kazoo the generic Linn icon will be shown for Last day, Last week etc....? I was very convinced my custom icon was displayed but may be I mixed it up by the way LUMIN displays those items (LUMIN displays the custom made Album icon). Will a custom made icon e.g. "Show All" pop up when admitted to indexArtist? Peter |

Custom images for all index entries (including Last day, Last week, etc.) are available currently and will continue to be available, so the Last day index can have its own custom image file Last day.jpg. If this file isn't present, the Last day index will not inherit the custom image Recently Added.jpg. This inheritance of custom images is supported only for index entries for tag values in tag indexes. For example, the index entry Melissa Laveaux in the Artist index will inherit the Artist.jpg custom image if there is no Melissa Laveaux.jpg custom image. "Show All" is not a tag value, so the Show All pop-up under Artist (etc.) will use the Show All.jpg image if there is one and the generic folder image otherwise. |

I meant an icon named Show All placed in the folder indexArtwork ![]() I tried this and those icons show up in Recently Added and Recently Played. Problems arise with an icon named 2025, this icon overrules the 2025 Date icon. Not a big deal, I play with it a little for fun. Replacing 2025 with Last year could be a solution. (Last day , Last week ,Last month, Last 3 months, Last year) seems logic to me. Kind regards, Peter |

RE: unexpected behaviour after update 260
Thank you for clarifying that you meant indexArtwork, not indexArtist.
I am not sure why it's a problem to have the same icon for 2025 in the Recently Added and Date containers. If you want to have different icons, you can put the icon for Date in the Date subfolder of indexArtwork and put the icon for Recently Added in the indexArtwork folder. For files older than the last 3 months, MinimServer uses calendar year ranges (which might or might not include 2025). I think this is clear and consistent. |

RE: unexpected behaviour after update 260
So Recently Added can go further back than a year?
If so, I don’t have a problem with that, but I would not call it recently. I have created a sub folder for date and noticed this only works when the custom made icon for date is located directly in the folder IndexArtwork and a custom made icon named 2025 (the same icon, renamed) is submitted to the sub folder. |

RE: unexpected behaviour after update 260
MinimServer can go back as long as needed for your recentAdded setting (default 300 files, maximum 1000 files).
I tried a test with images for Date and 2025 in the indexArtwork folder and both images were displayed. If I move 2025 into a Date subfolder, it is displayed under Date but not under Recently Added (as expected). |
