minimserver 0.8.1 start errors (linux)

Joy apt-get has some dependencies so have gone for the oracle version. Couple of (numpty) questions from reading your install guide. As this is a headless system is it better to use the Java 7 JRE or Java 7 SE?

Second numpty question. Is there any harm putting the JRE in the minimserver/lib directory?

Not gone well. I'm going to have to do an OS up rebuild. will report back in a few days.
