Synology DSM 4.3 & UTF-8
After upgrading to the latest Java version with the latest Java 7 package by patters Minim shows a warning: "UTF-8 locale and encoding are not available". Artist, albums etc. with umlauts and some other characters (ä, ö, ü, ß) are shown as "??". The log output of the Java package shows that the UTF-8 encoding is actually installed ("de_DE.utf8"). Also, the Serviio packge is running without problems using UTF-8 encoding ("File encoding: UTF-8" in the log output). The Minim logs says that the default platform encoding is US-ASCII. I am using the latest 4.3 DSM version.

Thanks, Simon, the test build did the trick. Must have missed it. Maybe it's time to update the official Synology package?
