MinimServer recognizing only some of the tracks of an album
I installed MinimServer on my QNAP NAS with the idea of switching from Twonky to MinimServer.

I find that, for most of my albums, MInimServer lists only some of the album’s tracks under the album, and classifies the remaining tracks untagged. When I look at the log, I see warnings concerning the tracks listed under the album.

For example, here are the warning messages concerning the Dark Side of the Moon.

Warning: ID3v2 TYER frame has incorrect value 2003-03-31 at offset 75182504 in file Rock 24/Pink Floyd/00. The Dark Side of the Moon/05 The Great Gig In The Sky.aiff (length 76561186)
Warning: ID3v2 TYER frame has incorrect value 2003-03-31 at offset 108380986 in file Rock 24/Pink Floyd/00. The Dark Side of the Moon/04 Time.aiff (length 110278380)
Warning: ID3v2 TYER frame has incorrect value 2003-03-31 at offset 60047332 in file Rock 24/Pink Floyd/00. The Dark Side of the Moon/09 Brain Damage.aiff (length 61189524)
Warning: ID3v2 TYER frame has incorrect value 2003-03-31 at offset 61017554 in file Rock 24/Pink Floyd/00. The Dark Side of the Moon/03 On The Run.aiff (length 62174908)

The four tracks mentioned in these warnings, The Great Gig in the Sky, Time, Brain Damage and On the Run, are the four that MinimServer lists under the album; the remaining tracks are listed as untagged.

Most of my music, including this album, was ripped from CD to aiff format, and tagged during ripping, using XLD.

I would greatly appreciate any insight you can offer into this problem.

These four tracks contain incorrect tags. The value for TYER must be a four-digit year string such as '2003'. The month and date values are tagged using TDAT, which contains a four-digit DDMM string such as '3103'. For these tracks, MinimServer has ignored the faulty TYER frame and has processed the other frames in the ID3v2 tag.

For the tracks that are listed as untagged, there must be some issue that is preventing MinimServer from seeing the embedded tags in these files. Are these other tags by any chance in ID3v1 format? This format is obsolete and it isn't supported by MinimServer. If this isn't the problem, you can upload one of these files to my FTP server (I'll send you a PM with the details) and I'll take a look at the file and let you know what is causing the problem.

Edit: It looks like you have disabled PMs from other forum users. Please enable this so that I can send you the details of my FTP server.
