ALBUM > AlbumArtist corruption with Composer

I use the JPlay IOS app with a Melco N100 server.

Since last Thursday, 5th Feb my albums have been scrambled when viewing in Jplay following a Minimserver rescan after the latest update.
Albums that do not have Composers in the tags, seem to be ok.

I have a combination of AlbumArtist and Composer tagged to my albums which are displayed using
tagformat>> Group.displayFormat={$composer^^: $group}

When showing all albums, what I am expecting as AlbumArtist is showing as the one of the listed Composers of one of the tracks within the album.
So I have albums like
* Wonderful World (Sam Cooke) showing as "George Gershwin" and Artist shown as "George Gershwin".
* 30 (by Adele) showing as "Tobias Jesso Jr."


I have since tried (unsuccessfully) the latest Minimserver updates 268, 269 for Minimserver2 and also tried re-creating the indexes with
StartupScan>> full


On a side note, how can I regress to a previous version of Minimserver before last Thursday, to see if that would resolve the problem?
I have attached my latest profile file used within Minimserver.

Thanks for letting me know about this and for posting your profile.

To go back to update 267, do the following:

1) Open the MinimServer configuration web page
2) In the 'Package name' field, enter this: minimserver-update-267
3) Click the Install button

I will investigate the issue you have reported and let you know what I find.

Thanks Simon, for that quick response.

With your suggestion, I was able to get back to update 267 using the standard Minimserver webserver GUI.
I ran a full index, and can confirm that 'Album Artist' is now back as it was before and Composer represented as expected.

* Sam Cooke is back as Artist.
And Composer appears on the track, wherever Composer is tagged.
* Adele is back as Artist on her album "30".
And Composer appears on the track, wherever Composer is tagged.
* Where Album artist is the same as Composer on all tracks, like the Kate Bush albums, then my display label shows "Kate Bush: Kate Bush" which is fine.

The feature to backout changes works well. Thank you for adding it.

I will be interested to hear, if there is anything I can do to improve the profile file, so it will work with the latest releases.

I have found a problem in Minimserver update 269 that was causing incorrect metadata to be sent to the control point. This might be the cause of the problem you have reported.

This problem is fixed in MinimServer update 270. Please install this update and let me know whether you are now seeing what you expect.

I applied the latest release 270 and pleased to confirm that the album artist and composer data is restored to how it was before on my iOS jplay endpoint.
No changes were needed to the Minimserver profile.
