/opt/ffmpeg/ffmpeg path already in use by Entware
Implementing a different converter the fixed path /opt/ffmpeg/ffmpeg is already in use by Entware. Other path values are not accepted.
What is the alternate solution here? /opt/bin is not available because it is overruled by the opt link is pointing to /share/CACHEDEV1_DATA/.qpkg/Entware. |

RE: /opt/ffmpeg/ffmpeg path already in use by Entware
You can use any path in the stream.converter property as long as the filename (final component) is ffmpeg.
Alternatively you can place your preferred version of ffmpeg in the minimserver/opt/bin directory (not the /opt/bin directory). If you don't do either of these, MinimStreamer searches your PATH directories for an ffmpeg executable. |

RE: /opt/ffmpeg/ffmpeg path already in use by Entware
Thx, I changed the "/opt/ffmpeg/ffmpeg" link into the complete path "/share/CACHEDEV1_DATA/.qpkg/ffmpeg/ffmpeg", both refering to the same location.
I've got 2 QNAP NAS (1 contains all data and 1 contains (also) all music files only which is close to my Linn Akurate connected thru hi-end switch, cables and clock) where MinimServer is running on and the data NAS was resulted in a error. Problem is not very critical but I always like to know the root cause. Maybe you can add a description like stream.options field syntax is “<path>/ffmpeg”. |
