Metadata not synchronized
I run the MinimServer Starter license on my QNAP TS-128A, and the installation process and setup was quick and easy.
After the initial scan of my audio library, I tweaked some metadata, as well as deleted some audio files.
Although I did several rescans of the MinimServer, all the old entries still show up in my WiiM App.
Any idea how to solve that? Is this problem related to the WiiM App, or the MinimServer?

Thanks for comments.

Are you using the "Advanced" browsing mode in the WiiM Home App (WHA)? If you are, you'll need to instruct the WHA to rescan MinimServer by:
  • Select MinimServer from the Home Music Share
  • Click the vertical ellipsis in the top right hand corner of the screen
  • Click Rescan Your Music Server
"Advanced" mode scrapes the metadata from the chosen server (not the underlying files) in order to present a unified browsing experience i.e. The browsing experience is painful no matter what server you use ;-)

I'd strongly recommend against using Advanced mode, but I do understand the UI in "Advanced" mode is a little more functional - though they could easily add the useful features to "Legacy" mode too.

Awesome, many thanks!!
I am so glad I found the MinimServer. The UI and the performance of the DLNA / Media Streaming Addon in QNAP has always been a nightmare. A rescan of my library took days and slowed down the whole NAS.
MinimServer is so quick, slim and just working fine! A prefect match with my WiiMPro.
