Minim server reluctant to start

Recently I have had trouble keeping Minim Server running. On re-starting my NAS, the app appears to be running but the server is not available on the network. In minim watch, the icon appears 'greyed out' and the only options available are options, refresh and exit -- the restart option is not available. I have found that manually stopping the app from the NAS and then restarting it seems to work. Any clues on what may cause this an how to fix? I am on MinimServer 2.2 update 263, MinimStreamer 2.0.13, and running MinimServer on a Synology DS218j, DSM 7.0.1-42218.

These symptoms (Minimserver visible for a short time after restart, then not visible) indicate that there is a problem with UPnP discovery on your network. This is often caused by IGMP snooping being enabled on the router (it should be disabled).

There are some suggestions on the Troubleshooting page for things you can try to fix the problem. The first step is to power off all network devices and restart them in the order listed on the Troubleshooting page. If this doesn't fix the problem, try disabling IGMP snooping on the router if it is enabled.
