MinimStreamer no longer streaming to my Media Player
Apologies if this is a really obvious issue, but I've checked everything and can't figure out what's wrong.
I've been using MinimStreamer without any issues for over a year to play various radio stations on my UPnP/Chromecast speakers (LG MusicFlow) via the app mConnect (on iPhone). However, just the a couple of days ago it all stopped working. I can see the "playlists" in the app, but when I choose a station it just spins and spins. I hadn't update the app or anything else from the day before when everything worked find, so I am really puzzled as to where the issue is. Strangely, when I look at the MinimStreamer log it says "Library contains 0 audio files in 3 folders", which is strange as the files are definitely there and still with the ".m3u" extension. One of the steams is a standard mp3 output (though I have read there may soon be issues with the BBS HLS streams), but even the mp3 stream (ie Classic FM) won't play. I am completely at a loss and hoping someone here can help me figure out what the issue might be, even though there had been no changes to the system from my end. PS. I am running MininServer and MinimStreamer on a Synology DS215j NAS running DSM v6. On my iPhone 11 (iOS 18.6) I am using mConnect to access the streamed playlists. Any advice would be much appreciated. |

RE: MinimStreamer no longer streaming to my Media Player
If your library contains only .m3u files pointing to network streams, "0 audio files" is correct.
As a first step, I suggest you power the MusicFlow speakers off and on. This often fixes problems like this. |

And also, I can’t even get it to play to my phone. I have also rebooted my phone, and restarted the MinimStreamer service. I checked the url I have for Classic FM and it plays fine when I paste it into my desktop browser, but when I try to stream via mConnect nothing happens. I’m really puzzled. |

RE: MinimStreamer no longer streaming to my Media Player
It sounds like there is a problem with your NAS being unable to connect to the internet servers hosting your radio streams.
Please try powering the NAS off and on if you haven't already done this. This might fix the problem. If this doesn't help, check the network configuration of your NAS in Synology DSM (select Control Panel, then Network). |
