Mac OS Tahoe (26)

It's that time of year again and I'm experimenting with the beta of Mac OS 26 (Tahoe)

Unfortunately MinimServer appears not to load with this beta

I completely understand Simon may have far more important issues but it would be useful if it worked.

I installed the Tahoe beta and started MinimServer. MinimServer is running and is visible from control points and MinimWatch but there is no minim icon in the macOS menu bar. Is this what you are seeing?

I have found the cause of this problem. I will release new versions of MinimServer and MinimWatch in the next few days that show the menu bar minim icon on both macOS Tahoe and previous versions of macOS.

Thanks, I mistakenly wrote MiniServer when I meant to say MinimWatch.

I agree minimServer is running fine under Tahoe excepting it cannot be seen on the menu bar

MinimServer 2.2.r5 and MinimWatch 2.2.r5 are now available for download from the MinimServer downloads page.

These new versions are able to display the menu bar icon on macOS Tahoe as well as on all previous versions of macOS.

I must be missing something as I cannot get Minimwatch icon on menu bar in Mac OS 26.0.1?

Have you downloaded and nstalled the latest MinimWatch 2.2.r5 version? Older versions are unable to display the menu bar icon on macOS Tahoe.

Yes 2.2.r5 installed, could it be something to do with Java version?

Whch Java version are you using? The recommended version is JDK 21.
