The line

#EXTINF:-1,BBC - Radio 4

needs to be

#EXTINF:-1,[R4] BBC - Radio 4

Without a stream ID this stream is not routed via MinimStreamer.

I'm afraid that didn't work either (see attached png).

Did you do a MinimServer rescan after making the latest change? If so, please post the current version of the file as a file attachment.

Apologies for the slow response. I'm a volunteer first aider and was on a very long duty shift yesterday.
Yes, I did a rescan. The Heart url plays but the BBC R4 one fails to open stream

RE: Adding radio to Naim App
Thanks for posting this .m3u file. It looks fine.

I am away from home at present and therefore unable to use my usual Melco renderer. I have tested your .m3u file using a different renderer and the BBC stream does not play on this renderer when using MinimStreamer. It is possible that this might be related in some way to the issue that you are seeing.

To check this I would need to see a MinimServer debug log. Are you running MinimWatch on your Windows PC or would you be able to install and run MinimWatch? This would make it simpler to create the debug log. When you have confirmed this, I will post instructions for creating the debug log file.

Also, I have checked how MinimServer is reading .m3u files when running on different platforms. MinimServer is already allowing for CR/LF line separators when running on Linux, so a .m3u file containing CR/LF line separators should work if there are no other issues. My apologies for posting incorrect information about this.

Hi Simon
Sorry, I have also been away to so did not pick this up. Yes I have minimwatch installed so can produce a log file if you provide a recipe for what you want.

RE: Adding radio to Naim App
Please do the following:

1) In the Naim app, browse to the stream that doesn't play but don't select it yet
2) In MinimWatch, select 'Show log'
3) In the log window, set the logging level to Debug
4) In the log window, click Clear
5) Leave the log window open
6) In the Naim app, try to play the stream
7) After 10 seconds, Click 'Save as' in the log window to save a log file
8) Zip or compress the saved log file (this step is important) and attach the compressed log file to a forum post

I will look at the log file and let you know what I find.

RE: Adding radio to Naim App
Thanks for this. The log shows no issues on the MinimServer side. MinimServer is reading the stream from the URL, transcoding it using MinimStreamer and ffmpeg and sending it to the renderer. The renderer is reading the stream that MinimServer is sending.

I am away from home at present. When I return, I will try this stream URL with a Naim renderer to see if I get the same result as you.

RE: Adding radio to Naim App
Thanks for your continuing efforts Simon.
In the meantime, I'll continue trying to get some contact with Naim support next week.
