--plus: the server is installed on Synology NAS system, and it works well for many years when it was all free. i restarted the server, just find there is updates get installed, but the server is still not avilable. |

RE: Linn DS find minimserver unavalible
As I understand it, you were able to activate your full license (I have confirmed this from the license server database) and MinimServer is running on your NAS with a full license.
Are you able to see MinimServer in your control point app (Linn Kazoo, Linn app or similar)? If you don't see MinimServer in your control point app, try restarting the NAS and closing and restarting your control point app. |

RE: Linn DS find minimserver unavalible
Thanks your simoncn. The license should have no issue, i've succeed play music in previous tow days. now things have some change. i can see the MinimServer in Kazoo and not show the unavilable tag now after many times of restart service and even the whole NAS, but the Kazoo show the DS blocked on waiting room.

RE: Linn DS find minimserver unavalible
Kazoo can sometimes show a message "Waiting for room" when the DS is available. If this happens, you should be able to touch the top bar and select your Linn DS from the window that opens. If this doesn't work, try the following:
1) Close Kazoo 2) Power the DS off and on 3) Restart Kazoo |

RE: Linn DS find minimserver unavalible
Where do you see the MinimServer status of Running? Are you seeing this on your NAS?
Where do you see the MinimServer status of Unavailable? Are you seeing this in Kazoo? If MinimServer is running on your NAS but unavailable in Kazoo, this is caused by an issue with your home network. Have you made any changes to your home network recently? |

RE: Linn DS find minimserver unavalible
Simon, you’re absolutely right. I finally understand why MiniServer sometimes appears available and other times unavailable in Kazoo. At home, I use two routers connected via a wireless mesh network. When the phone running Kazoo moves to another room and connects to the other router, it can no longer access the NAS, and it shows as unavailable. I've tested and confirmed this. Also, I reduced the number of directories mounted under MiniServer—maybe that helped too—now everything is working fine. thank you very much Simon!

RE: Linn DS find minimserver unavalible
I'm pleased to hear the problem is solved. The number of mounted directories wouldn't make any difference to network discovery.
