contentDir question
I have a Mac Mini M2 where I have just installed MinimServer2 with a full license.

My music resides on an external SSD (Samsung EVO 8TB) attached to a Mac Mini M4 via USB cable. There are 3 subdirectories where the audio files are located.

I am trying to determine the correct syntax for the content directory.

I have tried:

smb://192.68.xx.xx/Volume/Samsung EVO 8TB
smb://192.68.xx.xx/Samsung EVO 8TB
192.68.xx.xx/Volume/Samsung EVO 8TB
192.68.xx.xx/Samsung EVO 8TB

Get Info on the drive shows the following:
smb://192.168.68.51/Samsung EVO 8TB/SubDir_Name

I continue to receive the message:

"Not an absolute path; correct highlighted value and retry"

Any input would be appreciated.

RE: contentDir question
Can you see your files in Finder? If so, you should be able to use this contentDir value:

/Volumes/Samsung EVO 8TB/SubDir_Name

Alternatively you can use Finder to drag the folder containing the files into a blank contentDir entry field. This should set the correct folder path.

Thank you. That worked!
