Minim Streamer Activation

Hello. Where does the Minim Streamer appear? Can I find the Minim Streamer on the Melco server under Settings? It is not clear to me where the Minim Streamer can be seen.I read on the Minim page that you can install the Minim Streamer, but I don't understand where and how this is done in practice. To install MinimStreamer, you need to use the MinimServer configuration web page. On a Melco, you can find the URL for this page by selecting Settings > Music Database > Configure MinimServer from the Melco front panel. Type this URL into the address bar of a web browser to open the configuration page.

From the configuration page, select the MinimStreamer tab and click the Install button. This will install MinimStreamer and relaunch MinimServer with MinimStreamer now active.

To use MinimStreamer, you need to set some configuration settings. To do this, click the Properties tab on the MinimStreamer page. For example, you can enter flac:wav in the stream.transcode peoperty to transcode FLAC files to a WAV stream or you can enter flac:wav24 to transcode FLAC files to a 24-bit WAV stream. Many other transcoding settings are available and you can find a full description of these in the Transcoding section of the MinimSreamer user guide. After entering or changing transcoding settings, click the Save button to activate these settings.

Hello, thank you. I was doing so. When i clicked Installing on the Sidebar, there was only an information showing, saying:

There is no actual Button saying „Install Minim Streamer“

This is not the correct page. To install MinimStreamer, you need to use the MinimServer configuration web page. On a Melco, you can find the URL for this page by selecting Settings > Music Database > Configure MinimServer from the Melco front panel.

This URL will be something like http://192.168.0.57:9790 with some of these numbers different for your setup. Type this URL into the address bar of a web browser to open the configuration page.
