RE: SACD, CD ISO format Collection?
MinimServer doesn't read .iso files (CD images). You need to convert the .iso file to individual track files.

Like: - extract the DSD tracks from the ISO - convert them to DoP - stream them So Many users has audio iso files...I had Eversolo DMP-A8 in the pas -Android, readed everything ![]() |

RE: SACD, CD ISO format Collection?
I understand why you might want to play an entire recording from an ISO file, but Minimserver is clearly not set up for this. I have ripped many SACDs to ISO, then stored that file for future use after generating individual DSF files for playback. There is a ton of info and software to facilitate this at https://www.sonore.us/iso2dsd.html
To add to this, you can tweak the metadata of the resulting DSF files using MP3tag https://www.mp3tag.de/en/ This can be helpful not only for artwork, but for identifying multi movement pieces. The only advantage I can see of playing a full ISO is if your DAC cannot play DSD audio without a gap or pop between tracks. DSF files have many advantages otherwise. |
