Cover Art in Playlist
Hello
I created a playlist in Minimserver with WAV files where cover art is embedded. But when I play the playlist, covers are not showed. In all other views covers are displayed correct. Can anybody help me? André |

RE: Cover Art in Playlist
Hi, thank you for your interest in helping me. I have a MOON DAC D780. MOON has his onw streaming app called MiND. Within I use Minim Server full licenced. And there I have problems, playing tracks from my QNAP NAS.
But also in WIN11 I cannot see the covers in playlists. I will add a pdf with screenshots. Minim Server in WIN11 Explorer ans MiND App.pdf (Size: 750.47 KB / Downloads: 8)

RE: Cover Art in Playlist
Thanks for posting these screenshots. They are very helpful.
I have tried this with Windows 11 and confirmed that Windows 11 cannot read images embedded in WAV files. This applies to all WAV files, not just WAV files in playlists. I am unable to try this with the MOON MiND app because I don't have a MOON DAC. I have tried it with other UPnP control points and I have confirmed that they are able to read embedded images from WAV files, including WAV files in a .m3u playlist. I suggest you contact the MOON MinD developers to ask why these images are not displayed. What is the problem you are seeing with playing tracks from your QNAP NAS? Please describe this in as much detail as possible. |
