I messed up my MinimServer install on Synology
I inadvertently deleted some files in my MinimServer folder on my 418j Synology. Now, when I open the server item from the Package Center, none of the drop-down boxes work--Repair, Update, Uninstall, etc. None of the Other Information fields show any data, other than the developer.
When I click on the Run button, MinimServer opens up and shows the volume that I scanned, and the other tabs for License, Properties, etc. I'd like to start fresh, but don't know how to uninstall what is there. I'm a newbie with the NAS; used to simple deletes/uninstalls on my Macs. |

I have just updated my Synology DSM version to DSM 7.1.1-42962 Update 7 and since then I can longer manage any 3rd party apps in package centre. Like you all I get is a blank page although the packages work ok. I have opened a ticket with Synology. |

This is a bug in Synology DSM. See this thread.

RE: I messed up my MinimServer install on Synology
Yes, I have the same lack of information for the app as shown in the screen shot in the link you provided. And I also have the problem that MinimServier is running, but I can't stop, uninstall, or any other function from the drop-down box.
Synology also apparently doesn't give me the ability to kill a process through the Resource Monitor, even if I knew the name of the MinimServer process (BTW, what is it?). Is there any way from the splash screen of MinimServer to stop it? Rebooting has no effect. I'm only familiar with the easy way to stop processes with Activity Monitor on Mac OS, and have very little experience with DSM 7.1. |

RE: I messed up my MinimServer install on Synology
You can use the mscript program to send commands to MinimServer. On Synology, this program is available as /var/packages/MinimServer/target/bin/mscript.
To stop the MinimServer process, login to a Terminal window on the NAS using ssh or similar and run this command: /var/packages/MinimServer/target/bin/mscript -c exit |
