RE: red note problem
The latest version of macOS (Sequoia) has a change that requires the user to give permission for apps to access the local network.

Making this work with MinimServer has required some changes to MinimServer. The new version of MinimServer with these changes is MinimServer 2.2.r4 and you can download this from the MinimServer downloads page.

After downloading this, exit the MinimServer app and drag it to the Trash. Open the download and drag the green MinimServer icon to the Applications folder. When you start MinimServer, you should see a prompt asking you to allow MinimServer to access your local network. Click Allow and MinimServer should start normally.

RE: red note problem
There is a bug in macOS Sequoia that causes this to happen when you shut down and restart macOS. Until this bug is fixed, you need to do the following:

1) Select Privacy & Security in System Settings
2) Select Local Network
3) MinimServer should be enabled. Disable MinimServer, then enable it.
4) Restart MinimServer
5) MinimServer should start with no red note

You will need to do this every time you shut down and restart macOS.
