License Issues
After reboot, I got the following message:
Your license type is Starter. For more information, select the License tab.
Unexpected license file format: 10; resetting to Starter Edition License server returned 400: <html> <headxtitle>400 Bad Request</titlex/head> <body> <center><hl>400 Bad Request</hlx/center> < h rx c e nte r>o pen resty </ce nte r> </body> </html> Media server status for MinimServer[PC]: Error Unexpected license file format: 10; resetting to Starter Edition
After another reboot I had to re-enter my license file again:
Your license type is Full. For more information, select the License tab. Your full license has been reactivated successfully You are using 2 of 3 license activations (click here for details)
I have only one license, not two! Please reset this to one.

RE: License Issues
A few users have reported this issue. It seems to be caused by some faulty network interaction between MinimServer and the license server that has caused the license information held by MinimServer to become corrupt. I have not seen this problem myself and I have not yet been able to track down what is causing it.

Re-entering your license code has reinstated your previously active full license. It has not created an additional license activation. You have an addtional activation that was created in February 2024 for a different Windows 10 installation and is currently unused. I have removed this unused activation.

RE: License Issues
MinimServer update 254 (now available) has some changes that save diagnostic information if this problem occurs.

If anyone sees this error when running MinimServer update 254, please post here. I will explain how to retrieve this diagnostic information and send it to me.

RE: License Issues
Hello, I have the same problem here on Synology: licence error 1 and 2.
Before that happened, a few weeks ago, I also noticed that sometimes my settings totally disappear and come back when i do a rescan (or several rescans).
But this time, bubble upnp can't find minimserver and i'm back to starter edition...

Thank you for your help !

RE: License Issues
There should be some crash dump files in the MinimServer/appData shared folder of your Synology NAS. These files have names starting with minimserver-crash. Please attach all these files as file attachments to a post here (don't copy the contents inline). I am hoping these files will help me understand what is causing this problem. Many thanks.

RE: License Issues
Thanks for posting these files. I have made a change in update 255 (just released) that might fix the license error 1 and 2 messages. If you are still seeing any license errors after installing update 255, please let me know.
