RE: Folder names
If you set multiple folders in contentDir, the last name in the folder path needs to be different. Can you rename one of these folders?

Move all directories and files under the existing MusicLibrary to be under xxx. I think this might work - Simon? Your backups would work as they do now |

RE: Folder names
Yes, that would work if it doesn't cause problems with backups.
My understanding of the point about backups (perhaps incorrect) was that the OP is doing incremental backups and changing the folder location of a large number of audio files would cause all these files to be written to the backup even though they have not changed. |

I use SyncBack pro which copies only files that have changed. If I change the second drive to H:\MusicLibrary2 so its not identical to F:\MusicLibrary , I will just need to rename the folders on the BU drives and change the destination/source in the sync definition before I next backup. Not a big issue. I would obviously prefer not to start recopying 4Tb (x2) of files just for a name change,, but that wouldn't be the case. I just thought it odd that the path and not just the Folder Name would need to be unique Thanks , I will do that. |

RE: Folder names
MinimServer uses the final folder name as a unique identifier to name the cache file for that contentDir folder (for example, MusicLibrary-1.mcache). All cache files are stored in a single "data" directory, so two paths with the same final folder name would cause a name conflict for these cache files.
