Required NAS processing power for convolution?
To make a long story short, I recently got a sub for my 2-chanel system and became interested in room correction and DSP etc. Just last night I stumbled upon Minimserver, which seems to offer a low cost way - via convolution filters - to dip my toes into that area.

My music collection (and since last night the Minimserver) is on a NAS, but that is not a very powerful one (all it does, is storing files and running a UPnP/DLNA server). It's an Asustor AS1104 with Realtek RTD1296 Quad-Core 1.4 GHz CPU and 1 GB of RAM. Is that enough to do convolution filtering? I know, it would be way under-powered for Roon (which I don't use), but Minimserver+streamer is supposed to be a bit more efficient.

RE: Required NAS processing power for convolution?
MinimServer/MinimStreamer should be able to do convolution on your NAS. You can activate a 30-day free trial to confirm this before purchasing a full license (required for MinimStreamer and convolution).
