MinimServer, MinimStreamer, ESP32 Web Radio Player
Hello!
This is my first attempt at setting up a media streamer so I externally can call up a playlist on my NAS and play it on a WEB radio. I need help understanding all the steps that needs to be taken on MinimStreamer in order for me to succeed with this. If anyone could help me with this I would be very grateful. The prerequisites are as follows: MininServer is installed on a NAS type Synology DS212j The files I want to play are located in the /volume1/mp3 folder My web radio is based on an ESP32 and can handle streamed radio in mp3 format. The following URL works to play on my radio: Stream URL: http://vis.media-ice.musicradio.com/BigTop40MP3 Content Type: audio/mpeg How should I set up stream.converter, stream.options, stream. recorder (if necessary) and stream.transcode for this to work? What else needs setting up? StremID? Do the mp3 files have to be in a playlist? If so how do I create one? I hope someone is willing and able to help me with this! Thanks in advance! Regards // Nisse |

RE: MinimServer, MinimStreamer, ESP32 Web Radio Player
I have created a new thread for your post because it is on a different topic than the previous discussion.
To use MinimServer or MinimStreamer to play files or playlists from your NAS, you need a UPnP renderer and a UPnP control point. See this page for information about how UPnP works. You can't use a web radio player to do this. |
