I am trying both MinimServer and MinimWatch and seeing very inconsistent behaviour. My setup is the same as yours except that I am not using Dash To Panel. I will post back here when things are clearer.

This morning the minimwatch icon is a bit smaller and worked 1st time, without having to click to one side. Version 112.1

However, I have also realised I may be being a bit dim. You mention a minimserver icon. I am running minimserver on the same PC, but see no such icon, nor do I see it as a program available to run when searching applications. Is that because I run it as a daemon at startup?

I tried minimwatch again 1st thing this morning. Now, once again, it has the larger icon, and needs a click to the side to make it work. It's always puzzling when behaviour varies.

I think this might be related to whether TopIconsFix is fully active and enabled (smaller icon when not enabled, larger icon when enabled). I am trying different combinations to see if I can identify a pattern.

Have you configured MinimServer to enable desktop integration? If you haven't configured this, you won't see a tray icon for MinimServer. If you have configured desktop integration for MinimServer, I can send you a MinimServer test build with a fix for the missing tray icon. It is possible to have both automatic startup and desktop integration enabled.

Ah, silly of me - thanks. Yes, I'll try the test build.
I should add that I'll be moving onto 24.04 in August (or whenever the 24.04.1 release is issued), so If it isn't a problem in that version it'll be OK.

I tried 24.04 and it has a new problem with MinimWatch. If multiple MinimServer instances are running, the tray icons for all these instances are overlaid on top of each other in the task bar instead of appearing side by side. This means that only one icon is visible and only one MinimServer instance can be controlled. This problem occurs both with and without TopIconsFix active.

This problem doesn't affect MinimServer because it only shows one tray icon.

Thanks. That works, both initially from manually restarting it, and after a full restart. The icon is the right height (ie small), and works without need to click elsewhere. The only puzzle I had was in getting rid of the menu once up. Clicking on other icons doesn't work, or clicking on the desktop. I have to select a option, and then close that - not an issue now I understand it.

To close the menu without making a selection, click on the icon (a tiny space but aim improves with practice!)
