Can not refresh new CD ripped on Synology
hi,
just joined your forum .SmileSmile

I got a PC, windows11. I ripped CD via dbpoweramp to synology DS118, via Minimserver.
there was a problem internet, now it is ok.

but my LINN network music player , via the MinimServer synology, can not read the new CD ripped.
only the previous one, 16.

MinimServer do not display anymore "REFRESH" only RESCAN.. useless.

File explorer shows 75 files in the Shared Folder Musique(synology)

And only 16 on the LINN app

can you tell me how to fix it ?

Is there any error reported in the Minimserver log?
You can access the log using Minimwatch installed on any pc on the same network

From your first post, screen 6 STATUS, you can just select the Rescan button

You should then see your new album. You have to do a rescan after you add any new albums

After the rescan, you might need to go back to My Music in the Linn app and start browsing from there to see your new music.

I clicked on this "back arrow".. albums come out ! but funny.. Kazoo says 152 albums.. instead of 75 ( almost double), and the display is really 75.

second thing : is everybody loose the "REFRESH" fonction on the MimServer ? ( with the Refresh, I never had to click on the "back arrow" on Kazoo)

After doing a rescan, to make sure Kazoo is showing the correct view of your library it is best to go back to My Music (screenshot 3 in post #1) and start browsing from there. Using the back arrow might not always completely refresh Kazoo's view of your library.

Before the most recent MinimServer update (update 250), there was a 'Refresh status' button on the MinimServer configuration web page. Clicking this button updated the current status of MinimServer (Starting, Running, Error, etc.) as shown on that page. It did not make any difference to what is shown in the control point (Kazoo). In update 250, the status on the web page is refreshed automatically whenever it changes, so there is no longer any need for this 'Refresh status' button.
