Support for Grimm MU1 or Lumin U2

Can MinimServer be used with either the Grimm MU1 or the Lumin U2 Music Server?

It is “strongly” recommended by Lumïn than it works with U2 for sure. AFAIK Grimm MU1 is not UPNP compatible (Roon only) therefore it cannot be used with it

Do I need to start over and reinstall MinimServer & MinimWatch settings, with the Lumin U2?
My Audio file is currently on a Synology network drive. I want to replace it with the Lumin.
If I shut off the Synology and power on the Lumin, will the U2 find MinimServer & the MinimWatch settings,
and without making any changes can I begin listening to music on my hifi? (Doubt it's that easy)
What are the steps?

Where is now running Minimserver? You can leave it where it runs now without changing anything, just plug the new Lumïn to the power and to the network, install Lumïn app on your smartphone/tablet, load Minimserver library on the app and you’re ready to play

MinimServer is running on a Synology net drive.
My plan is to replace the Synology net drive, and use the Lumin U2 with an external SSD instead.

So do I copy the Synology contents, MinimServer and my audio file,
to a clean external SSD, then physically attach that external SSD to the U2.

Power up the U2, and everything works perfectly?
...or next step?

I already have an app on my phone, Mosaic from dCS. Don't want to change that.
MinimServer feeds Mosaic the audio file, with artist name (first name first), and
a photo of the album cover. Mosaic can also operate the dCS CD Player.

If I keep MinimServer, I want it to do the same as now only from the U2.
Make sense?

You cannot run Minimserver on an usb hdd/ssd, you need a nas or a pc

But unfortunately you cannot install Minimserver on Lumïn … it is a “closed” system and you cannot install anything on it

AFAIK you cannot install anything on it, just like Lumïn.
