Minimserver as an installed application on mac?
Hopefully this will be the last time i need to ask for help!

Is there anyway to install the miniserver on the mac as an application? it runs as a disk image and therefore you cant eject the disk image from the home screen as it stops the server as well.

probably a simple fix?

You need to follow all the instructions in this section exactly as shown, including step 5 (drag the MinimServer application to the Applications folder and run it from there).

See step 5 of the instructions. It sounds like you have dragged the .dmg file from the Downloads folder into the Applications folder instead of opening the .dmg file and dragging the MinimServer application.
