Album & Artist Sorting 0-9 then A-Z

Hi,

My first post and new to minimserver, I'm struggling with the sort order, minimserver sorts A-Z, Special Character then 0-9. I would like it to be Special characters, 0-9 and then A-Z, is that possible?

The default sort order is the order you want (special characters, numbers, A-Z). It sounds like you might have have changed a configuration property setting. Please post the contents of your MinimServer profile. You can see this by selecting Profiles > View from the MinimServer configuration web page.

The other possibility is that your control point app might be ignoring the sort order sent by MinimServer and using its own sort order instead. Which control point app are you using?

I could of cause, be my HEOS app just being weird, I will try another app and see if changes anything.

The built-in view in the HEOS app sort as expected, but when I use "BROWSE" and use the minimserver views it shows special characters and numbers at the bottom.

In JPLAY when using "BROWSE" then the sorting is correct, so I guess its the HEOS app forcing another sort order.

Your profile settings are fine. It must be the HEOS app that is changing the sort order.
