Force licence deactivation/uninstall minimserver Synology
So I've just upgraded to DSM7.1 and due to getting mixed up with the docker version and package centre (mainly that i didn't realise docker would automatically restart after upgrade) I've gotten into a situation where I've put minimserver on port 9791 which i can't access. Previously they were 9890/2 and i needed to swap them over so moved one temporarily.
edit to add: DS218+ Intel Celeron I also can't delete the package and start again as the licence isn't deactivated. Something i can't do because of not getting to port 9791. Can someone advise how the hell I can force uninstall, or remotely deactivate the licence? Thanks Ed |

RE: Force licence deactivation/uninstall minimserver Synology
update: ended up simply changing the config file's port number which got it back. reactivated the licence as it was showing both no ability to deactivate but also that it was in use. deactivated, then to be on the safe side full uninstall and reinstall of the package.
i think its just taking forever to set itself up doing a first scan again. |

RE: Force licence deactivation/uninstall minimserver Synology
As you intend to reinstall MinimServer on the same Synology NAS, you don't need to deactivate the license. It wil be reapplied automatically to the new installation.
