failed install on win10

Hi all, I tried to install Minimserver 2.2 on my Windows machine. It did not start the server that I could see. I looked at the machine ip address:9790, it didn't show up in the system tray. I didn't bring up admin services to see if it was running there.
The program icon would not launch anything. I got the Windows message that there is no program associated with this icon.
The program installs without Administrative permission. So, I tried reinstalling it as and administrator (my normal use of Windows is as an unprivileged user). -Still no go.

Previously I have successfully installed Minimserver on a laptop running Ubuntu, for what that is worth. It might have been running still on the same network.

Replying to my own reply....

Installing Java did the trick. Program doesn't need admin rights. I successfully played content across the network on my WiiM Pro Plus.
