Removing recentAdded setting
I'm getting this message every day in the MinimWatch log. I thought it would be easy to find out why but my searches have come up empty.
What's happening? I have *RecentAdded in Properties > indexTags. MinimServer 2.2 on Synology DS218 DSM 7.2. |

RE: Removing recentAdded setting
How was this log produced? For example, was it produced by stopping MinimServer from Package Center and restarting it?
What is your setting for the serverOptions property? |

MinimServer restarts automatically at 7:30 each day. I view the log using MinimWatch > Show log (in top menu on MacBook Pro). serverOptions has one entry: indexArtwork=auto |

How are you doing the automatic restart?

More info in case it's useful: The files are in an iTunes library, nearly all ALAC but some AAC and MP3. Recently Added mostly works: I see entries for Last Day, Last Week, Last Month, 2023, but 2023 is incomplete as it shows only the same as Last Month. |

RE: Removing recentAdded setting
I am seeing these messages when I stop and restart MinimServer from Package Center and the serverOptions property has its default unchanged setting. The messages are not causing or reporting any problems but they should not be produced and I will look into why this is happening.
By default, the recently added history is set to hold a maximum of 300 files. If you have added more than 300 files in 2023, you will only see the most recent 300 files. This might be why some of your 2023 additions are missing. You can increase this limit (up to a maximum of 1000 files) by setting the recentAdded option of the serverOptions property. To set this limit to 1000, set the serverOptions property to this: indexArtwork=auto, recentAdded=1000 |

It wasn't a real problem; I was just curious about it and wondered if it indicated some incompatibility in my settings. Thanks for the tip about the limit. About that, I think Last 12 Months would be better than calendar year, but it's no big deal. |
