Port 9790 on two NAS Synology
Hello,

I have two NAS (NAS 1 and NAS 2) on the same network, Minimserver 2.2 is installed on these two NAS.
I opened port 9790 on my bbox for NAS 2, when I want to modify the Minimserver settings (rescan) of NAS 1,
it connects to the Minimserver of NAS 2, I cannot associate port 9790 on the two NAS in my BBOX.

How do I define a port for NAS minimserver 1 and a port for NAS minimserver 2?
Thanks for your help.

You can use the http.port property to change the HTTP port to another number. Don't use 9791 because this is the MinimServer default port for UPnP communication.

Through minimwatch I can see both installed minimservers, but I cannot change the port on one of them.

If the http.port property is shown as greyed out in MinimWatch, this means you are running MinimServer with a starter license. To change the port number, you need a MinimServer full or trial license activated on the device (NAS) running MinimServer.

Hello Simon,

I activated the trial license for minimserver, now I can access the http.port box,
modifying the port value is possible, but it is not taken into account at the time of saving.

thank you in advance for your help

To activate the new setting for http.port, you need to restart MinimServer.

I change the port 9790 to 9797 but the save command seems not to work, once the save command is performed the port value returns to 9790.

A precision
In the minimserver.config file, I can see the lines:

minimserver.trialVersion = 2.2
http.port=9797
http.listenerPort=9797

I defined port 9797 in my box but it still does not work, minimserver always points to 9790

RE: Port 9790 on two NAS Synology
I have tried this and I see the same as you. The port value goes back to 9790 after Save and stays as 9790 after Restart. To activate the new port number, it is necessary to completely stop MinimServer from the NAS App Center or Package Center and start MinimServer again.

For now, you can use this as a workaround. I will investigate why it isn't working as expected.
