Not exactly, they've added or enabled authorisation protocols so that they can only be streamed via 'authorised' partners, and unfortunately have not as yet agreed to authorise Minimserver as a partner. I'd recommend reading through this thread for information that might provide further enlightenment, though.

Thanks, I did read the stream; I'm afraid my post was imprecise in it's wording!

Please don't add duplicate posts to multiple threads. It's OK to post a cross-reference link to a post in another thread. This is a general point for all posts, not specific to this topic. I have removed your duplicate post from the other thread.

no need to thank me then, 12 pages of anguish, I come up with a solution and that is all I get. Great.... good luck,

Simon,

Apologies if I've missed any notices posted elsewhere, but I can't see any. I was wondering if there had been any movement on discussions with the BBC as to becoming an 'approved' stream provider (or whatever grand term they use). Is there anything to report?

Thanks.

RE: Restriction of BBC Radio HLS/DASH to authorised third parties
There have not been any new developments regarding this. MinimStreamer can play any stream for which there is a working URL (BBC or otherwise). Some users have been able to find working URLs for the BBC streams. This is not ideal but it is better than not being able to play the BBC streams at all.
