To check the network configuration of your iMac, do the following:

1) From System Preferences, open Network
2) Select the first network adapter and click the Advanced button
3) Select the TCP/IP tab
4) Make a note of the IPv4 address and subnet mask
5) Click Cancel to get back to the Network page
6) If you have more than one network adapter, repeat steps 2, 3, 4 and 5 for each adapter
