MinimWatch 2.2
Hi Paul, I seem to have run into a problem with MinimWatch not connecting to MinimServer, having recently installed a Mesh system in my house. MinimWatch will not connect to my Melco N1Z. MinimWatch is showing a subnet mask of 192.168.178.0 whereas my Melco front panel is showing 192.168.68.51. If I try and change the settings in MinimWatch Properties, it indicates an error. Any ideas how to solve this problem please? Many thanks.

RE: MinimWatch 2.2
In MinimWatch properties, are you able to set ohnet.subnet to 192.168.68.0? Your post doesn't say what setting produced the error.

RE: MinimWatch 2.2
There is nothing showing in ohnet.subnet and when I enter 192.168.68.0 (should this be 192.168.68.51 - from my Melco front screen?), it turns red and a message is shown in red, namely "Subnet not found; correct highlighted value and retry".

Does the Melco has a fixed ip address? If yes try to set it to dhcp and verify which new ip address it will get

Where are you seeing this? Is it the active subnet in the MinimWatch log?

The address 192.168.68.51 is an IP address, not a subnet address. The ohnet.subnet property must be set to a masked subnet address.

This might be the cause of the problem if your subnet has changed after installing the Mesh system.

RE: MinimWatch 2.2
Hi, I think it might be possible to change the IP address. However, since I've had the machine it has been set to DHCP resulting in the IP address I detailed above (192.168.68.51). How come there is no IP address listed under Minimwatch Properties?

RE: MinimWatch 2.2
MinimWatch uses the IP address of the device that is being used to run it (for example, a Windows PC).

Please check the subnet mask of the Melco. To do this, use the front panel to select Settings > Network > LAN Port > Fixed IP. Click through the first screen (IP Address). The second screen (Subnet Mask) shows your current subnet mask. After reading this information, click the back arrow on the front panel several times to get back to the LAN Port page. This should still be showing DHCP. What did you see for the Subnet Mask value?

At the moment this box is empty. How do I configure it for a masked subnet address?
