Will QNAP Hero be supported by MinimServer

Will QNAP Hero be supported in the (near) future by MinimServer?
Because QNAP Hero is running on a professional Unix filesystem, it has many advantages incl. performance.

I don't have any QNAP devices that can run QuTS Hero and I haven't been able to find any information about what is needed to create a QuTS Hero package and/or whether this is different from a regular QTS package.

I would be interested to know whether anyone has tried installing the regular MinimServer package for Intel on a QuTS Hero device using a manual download and install.

A music server like MinimServer is unlikely to get much benefit from the performance improvements in QuTS Hero as audio streaming doesn't require very fast storage or networking bandwidth. The data integrity features in QuTS Hero could be useful.

You are right that MinimServer itself will not benifit from an QuTS Hero installation but QNAP devices are typically not running a single target service. Many other services especially storage/file system related could benefit from this (= the zFS file system).
After installing QuTS Hero I found out the MinimServer was not available which forced me to go "back" to QTS. I wanted to investigate if QuTS within a non-professional setting is also benefitial for simpel end-users.

Do you mean MinimServer was not available from the QuTS Hero App Center? I would be interested to hear from anyone running QuTS Hero whether it is possible to download the MinimServer package from the MinimServer Downloads page and do a manual install of this download using QuTS Hero App Center.

I will also contact QNAP to ask about what is involved in making MinimServer run on QuTS Hero.

QNAP have confirmed that a package developed for QTS can also run on QuTS Hero, so you should be able to download MinimServer 2.2 from the MinimServer Downloads page and do a manual installation of this download on QuTS Hero.

I will ask QNAP to make this package available for direct installation from App Center on QuTS Hero.
