Album Artist does not delete

Hello Forum,

I have a repeating occurence of content in the tag 'Album Artist', even though I have deleted this from the file tags.

I am using Mp3tag as tag editor, MinimServer 2.2 running on DSM 212j.

How can I get rid of this false tag?

After updating any files (including retagging), you need to do a MinimServer rescan. Have you done this?

Also, with some control points you need to reload the MinimServer library into the control point after the rescan. Which control point are you using?

Thank you for coming back so quickly. I am not sure I understand the term 'control point' correctly. I am looking at the text with Linn's Kazoo, if that is it.

Nevertheless, I may have found the issue to lie with the tag editor rather than MinimServer. Even though I deleted the tag it kept persistently coming up, but I have found a different way to delete it.

Yes, in your case the control point is Linn Kazoo. Thanks for posting the resolution for this issue.
