Updating Minimserver

I have a really old version of Minimserver 0.63, and would like to update to licenced version 2.0 ( or the newest version). Do I need to delete current version from QNAP NAS and install latest version, or can I simply update?

I think after 10 years it is probably a good idea to move on from your "old faithful" version of MinimServer.

The safest approach would be to make a note of your property settings, then uninstall MinimServer 0.63, then install MinimServer 2.2, then add back your property settings. Depending on what properties you have set, you might need to enable the trial license to be able to apply these settings.

Updating from such an old version without uninstalling has almost certainly never been tested. It might work but the approach described above is safer.
