Threaded Mode | Linear Mode

Hi Simon and all, and happy New Year.

Since updating to MinimServer v2.2 on my Melco N1Z Mk. I (FW v3.93), Linn Kazoo for MacOS (v4.15.9) running on my MacBook Pro (Catalina v10.15.7) cannot access the music files on my Melco. Kazoo throws an error message saying, "Failed to load content..."

Linn Kazoo for iPadOS (v4.15.5) works fine, as does Auralic Lightning DS for iPadOS (v15.7.2) and iOS (v16.2).

Also, if I stream files on the Melco from one of these apps, Linn Kazoo for MacOS displays what is playing and what is in the queue. In addition, Linn Kazoo for MacOS works as normal when streaming Qobuz.

As such, I am guessing my home network is not the issue.

Is anyone else having issues with Kazoo for MacOS?

Any thoughts as to what might be going on, and if it is fixable on the MinimServer end?

Please explain when you are seeing the "Failed to load content..." message. For example, do you see an icon for MinimServer in Kazoo and get the message immediately when you select this icon, or does browsing your library work OK and the message appear when you try to play a track? If it is the latter, does it happen for all tracks or only some tracks?

Hi Simon, and thanks for the reply. I powered up my system this morning to take screenshots to try to illustrate what I was seeing and Linn Kazoo for MacOS worked as normal. The only thing that was 'different' since I posted yesterday was that I power-cycled the Melco.

Hence, the issue appeared to be on my end and I apologize for the false alarm (I did not think to power-cycle the Melco yesterday, as all other control points were working as normal).

To close the loop on this, the "Failed to load content..." message (which I can no longer reproduce) appeared immediately when I clicked on the MinimServer icon in Kazoo. At that time, I could not get to my library to try different tracks.

I will try to mark this thread as 'SOLVED.'

Thanks for letting me know. I will take a wild guess that the IP address for your Melco might have changed and Kazoo on your MacBook was looking at the previous IP address for the Melco when you clicked on the MinimServer icon. Happy New Year!
