Wink [Resolved] Need help with Setting Up with my Environment (QNAP)
First Thanks for reading and even more providing feedback.

* QNAP is running with the most current version of minimserver 2.1.2.
* On my smartphone I use an BubbleUpnp to access minimserver library. In general I can see (an older version ?) of minimserver library (~ 60.000 pieces of mp3 music).
* The QNAP share in linked to the windows desktop, so from time to time I ripp a new cd and the mp3 files are put into the Windows/QNAP share.

Some months ago I 'd set up a new windows computer without any minim software (minimstreamer oder minimwatch). I recall there was something on my old computer.

My questions at now:
* What do I need to have in place in order to have a complete environment.
* Do I need minimstreamer or minimwatch. If so, what is the targetsystem, where can I find the downloads
* Where can I make settings in order to refresh minim library on a regular basis.

I have no !deep! knowledge of the QNAP system, LINUX or something else. Please keep this in mind if you think you can provide useful feedback.

RE: Need help with Setting Up with my Environment (QNAP)
The minimum you would need to do is access the MinimServer running on your QNAP from a browser window. You enter:

http://192.168.1.52:9790/
but you need to change the IP address to that of your QNAP.

If you do not know the address of your QNAP, then run QFinder from QNAP and this will show it to you. But I guess you probably do know the address as you have mapped the drive.

When you go to this web page you will see a button to Rescan. This will pickup the new albums that you have ripped.

You could also install MinimWatch on you PC but the above web page will allow you to rescan the new files.

You can also perform a library rescan within the BubbleUPnP control point itself; from the Devices tab, click on the 3 vertical dots next to your MinimServer library and select 'Rescan library'.

If you wanted to automate a regular rescan you'd need to schedule a job to do it, on Linux you could use something like cron, but on QNAP I have no idea.

If you wanted to change the MinimServer configuration (the indexes that are displayed e.t.c.) you'd need to install MinimWatch on your Windows PC from here.

RE: Need help with Setting Up with my Environment (QNAP)
Hi, many thanks. My questions 've been resolved. Minimserver (QNAP) & BubbleUpnp (Android) & MusicBee (Windows) working perfectly together. What made me unsecure in the beginning was that my library is probably quite large and /or my devices are not very speedy, so it took some time. Many thanks again.

I close my ticket.
