Ignoring a folder…
Long time user coming back to MinimServer after having used Roon for a while.
Anyway, my music library has a folder called .sync which I understood should be ignored when MinimServer scans the library, but it doesn’t. Does MinimServer 2 (for now the free version) not ignore hidden folders (those beginning with a .) any more? Thanks Eloïse |

RE: Ignoring a folder…
Welcome back to MinimServer!
If MinimServer is running on Linux or Mac, folders with names that start with '.' are not automatically ignored by MinimServer. This is intentional and it has always been this way. On Windows, hidden folders (as specified by the folder's attributes) are ignored. To ignore a folder named '.sync', you need to set the excludePattern property to '.sync' (without the quotes). This is same as MinimServer 0.8 except that with MinimServer 2, this property can only be set if you are using the paid full version or the free 30-day trial. |
