Help upnp With Tidal support ?
I’ve been using the Lumin app as the control point for minimstreamer on my Melco from day one, it’s a bit clunky but works and importantly for me had Tidal support.
My iPad recently auto updated the app to v 7.5.0 and I find that Tidal support has gone, I’ve asked Lumin support about this and they’ve confirmed that this version of the app only supports tidal
if used with Lumin hardware.
Can Simon or anyone else offer any alternatives, I’ve asked Lumin support if they would kindly provide me with the file for the previous version of their app so I can roll back but I don’t think they’re going to be forthcoming can anyone offer any suggestions please?

You can use MConnect Player (the Lite version is free, the HD version gives the landscape mode on iPad but is payed).

You might try the Teac app. This app is pretty much the same as the LUMIN app , there is a chance development of this app is a bit behind.

Tap on “Play to” in upper left corner, your players should be there

My Melco N1 isn’t showing in the play to devices, it’s only finding my smart tv.

Don’t know anything about Melco, I’m sorry … isn’t there any configuration in Melco related to UPNP / DLNA / OpenHome? If yes, try to disable OpenHome setting

… MConnect player is listed in “Mode 0” (UPNP) apps in the Melco FAQ page, it should work
