Question about ffmpeg resample.
Hi,

I'm not advanced user so forgive me my noob question. I enabled sox resample for wav 16/44 to 24/96. Everything is working almost fine but I have one problem. I have many cd audio albums which I saved to wav by dbpoweramp. I have few porcupine tree albums for example. When I play one of them dac shows 88KHz for another one 44, but source wav has the same properties 16/44. I'm confused. Why not all files are resampled? I'm sure that all wav files are the same quality.

I attached screenshot from my cfg.

RE: Question about ffmpeg resample.
You need to set/add wav(24;44):wav24;88 and wav(24;48):wav24;96 as probably those that are not upsampled are 24/44.1 and/or 24/48

RE: Question about ffmpeg resample.
Nope. They are normal wav from audio cd, 16/44. I have all my cd audio albums saved to normal wav. But one album is upsampled and another is not. I can share one example wav which is not upsampled. It is 16/44. Look at attached screens. Both files are basically the same. One is upsampled one is not.

BTW I shared screenshot from my cfg. It's OK?

RE: Question about ffmpeg resample.
After making any changes to stream.transcode, you need to refresh the control point's view of any files eligible for resampling. Files in the library and files on the playing queue need to be refreshed. It is possible that the file that isn't being played as resampled was not refreshed in the control point.
