How to Install 2.1.1 on QNAP ?
Got a 2.1 popup on my win PC, so I checked the main Downloads page to find that only 2.1 is listed against QNAP, whilst 2.1.1 is listed only for Windows.
Which one should I pick? I also clicked the manual install instructions but it is out of date for latest QNAP 5.0.0.1891 (and probably all 5.x) so how do I do it? Current auto-installed version on my QNAP is 2.0.19, so how does that compare with the various levels of v2 packages and should I just wait for QNAP to make 2.1.1 available? |

RE: How to Install 2.1.1 on QNAP ?
For QNAP, you should use 2.1. The 2.1.1 download is for Windows only.
What is the issue with following the manual install instructions on QTS 5.0.0.1891? |

RE: How to Install 2.1.1 on QNAP ?
Apologies, I was looking at the wrong QNAP screen !! I now have managed to manually install, the correct version 2.1 shows up in App Center. Updated MinimWatch detects it as 2.1 update 208
Opening in QNAP App Center, it shows as Starter edition. |

RE: How to Install 2.1.1 on QNAP ?
If you have a full license, you can activate this from the License tab of the MinimServer configuration web page. If you don't have a full license, you can activate a free 30-day trial license from the License tab of the MinimServer configuration web page. The trial license provides the same functionality as the full license.
