Minimserver 2 with Antipodes K50
First of all thanks for allowing MinimServer to be put on the K50 been waiting for some time now and using the standard version but just upgraded to the trail version.

I can see no extra functions buy using the trail version (which is the full version).

I am using a Antipodes K50 server with Minim and the player using MPD with BubbleUPnP as an app but I see no reason to upgrade as I cannot find how to use the extra functions?

Any help would be greatly appreciated to allow me to use the extra functions in the paid version.

Thank you

To access the extra features in the full and trial versions, you need to have MinimWatch installed on a computer (Windows, Mac or Linux) in your home network. For details of how to install MinimWatch, see this page.

When you have MinimWatch installed, you can use the Properties dialog to configure the additional features that are listed on this page. For more information about MinimServer properties, see this page and the pages of the online user guide.

Hello Simon,
Thank you for the reply I have the minim watch installed and sort of understand the concept....all I have to do now is configure the the tags.
I think I will leave it as is for the moment as need to read up on the instructions.
Thanks for letting your software on the Antipodes platform.
With SQ in mind MinimServer is much better than Roon IMHO.

RE: Minimserver 2 with Antipodes K50
Here are a few suggestions to get you started:

1) If you want to see more artwork on index selections when browsing your library, set the serverOptions property to indexArtwork=auto.

2) If you want to extend the index to include additional tags in your library, add the names of these tags to the indexTags property.

3) If you want to see lists of albums, artists, etc. divided into alphabetical sections instead of a single long list, set the alphaGroup property.

4) If you want to browse and play internet radio streams using MinimServer, install the optional MinimStreamer package and follow the instructions in this section.

If you need help with any of the above or with anything else, please post here. You only have 30 days for your free trial, so don't leave it too late before you start to try the extra features.

RE: Minimserver 2 with Antipodes K50
Hello Simion,
Thank you for the reply. It seems my tags are in different fields I must look at the meta data of my file to see what has happened but I see how it works.

With :-

3) If you want to see lists of albums, artists, etc. divided into alphabetical sections instead of a single long list, set the alphaGroup property.

What setting do I add to get in Alphabetical order ?

Thank you

Edit I seemed to have lost the Index for artwork dialog box it was there and I changed the setting to Auto now gone....!

It would be easier if there was some dropdown box to select of add the fields to the list ?

You can set alphaGroup to 'all' to make all your lists alphabetically grouped. For details of other options for this, see this section.

To enable index artwork, open the Properties dialog and click the Advanced tab. In the serverOptions property, type 'indexArtwork=auto' and click the OK button. The next time you click the Advanced tab, you should see the indexArtwork=auto setting.
